Primavera P6 files / File import / Supported format
Import .xer or Primavera P6 .xml schedules into the schedule workspace. Check calendars, relationships, activity fields and the resulting dates using a representative file. Import is a file-based exchange. It is not a continuous connection to your scheduling database.
Schedule handoff / File export / Supported format
Export a schedule as .xer for a controlled handoff. Review the file in the receiving scheduling environment before incorporating it into the working schedule. A file round-trip needs validation against your project conventions and calculation settings.
Project documents / Supporting records / Workflow dependent
Attach supporting documents to the relevant project or review workflow. Agree the expected document types, limits and reporting outputs during the evaluation. Attaching a file does not mean its contents have been automatically interpreted.
Microsoft 365 / Optional connection / Setup required
Configured Microsoft connections can support linked sign-in, project conversations and Outlook calendar actions. Organization approval and the appropriate permissions are required. Outlook calendar actions are different from mailbox ingestion. Email inbox import is not offered here.
Slack / Optional connection / Setup required
Configured Slack connections can route project notifications and support project conversations, with recipients returning to Kairos for the underlying record. Provider registration, authorization and delivery verification are required before use.
