About Kairos One

Deep project roots. A new perspective.

Kairos One brings a practitioner’s perspective to capital-program software. Our founders bring hands-on project-controls experience to software grounded in schedules, reviews, and accountable decisions.

Why we built it

For years we watched the same failures repeat on capital portfolios: owners finding out a schedule had slipped only after it was too late to act, numbers in a report that no one could trace back to a source, approvals lost in email threads, and delay claims that were avoidable if someone had been watching the right signal.

We built Kairos One to fix the part we know best — turning the hands-on review discipline we practiced for clients into software an owner can run every day.

The experience behind the product

Our team has delivered project-controls and schedule work across the sectors where schedule risk hurts most: oil and gas, power and utilities (transmission and distribution), process plants, mining and metals, nuclear, infrastructure (rail, highways and DOT, roads, and ports), airports, hospitals, and renewables.

The disciplines we bring are the ones owners pay for when a portfolio is on the line: project controls (cost, scheduling, estimating), schedule review and schedule quality, qualitative and quantitative risk modeling, claims and delay analysis and avoidance, and standing up a project management office. Across that work, our founders have supported capital portfolios on multiple continents.

Experience informs the workflow

Our team’s experience informs the questions we ask of contractor schedules, the supporting records reviewers need, and the way we connect analysis with a decision.

The project examples here reflect our team’s prior advisory work. Kairos One provides software for the workflow; professional judgment and responsibility remain with the people using it.

One brand, two ways to work with us

The Platform is the Kairos One software: schedule intelligence, schedule quality and comparison, document control, review-and-approval workflows, compliance worklists, and an executive portfolio dashboard.

The Advisory is our team doing the work with you — project controls, schedule review and quality, risk modeling, claims and delay analysis, and PMO setup. The platform scales what we do by hand; the advisory is us doing it alongside you. Many owners use both.

How we work — a human stays in the loop

Every recommendation, summary, and risk indicator Kairos One produces is decision-support, reviewed and approved by an accountable person before anything moves. We do not ship autopilot, and we do not claim accuracy we cannot defend. The practitioner who signs off is the point — not the algorithm.

Credentials

Kairos One is led by credentialed practitioners. Our founders hold the AACE PSP (Planning and Scheduling Professional), the PMP (Project Management Professional), and the CCM (Certified Construction Manager) credentials — the same standards owners and public agencies look for when they trust a schedule.
